Kelly Shibari, a porn star, speaks out to accuse a famous sex and relationship expert of Sexual misconduct. Reid Mihalko, who is 49 years old, made a living preach about the importance of consent at the country level.
In the early era, first, he started sex education. At the same time, cuddle party movement was started in New York City. These were non-sexual intimacy parties where attendees ask permission before touching everyone.
However, 45 years old Kelly said Mihalko did not practice what he preached. She said this when they met about eight years ago.

Shibari says in an interview with Daily Beast, she was invited to take one of Mihalko’s workshops in downtown LA. Moreover, she was so excited by the lecture and offered to drover Mihalko to home.
She tried to talk more with Mihalko’s work on the car ride, but he tried to have sex with her.
Kelly Shibari said, As I drove Him back to his friend’s place, he spent all the time figuring out how to have sex with me. I kept telling him; I am a sex worker and porn star so you can’t get all unless you pay for this. I don’t prefer any private sessions.
Furthermore, she said
He kept Hammering at it even after I said no. it was like we did a video together and different workshops. It felt that he was coming up with workshop ideas so he could have sex.
Kelly attended one of Mihalko’s Workshops in LA, eight years old and offered to ride back to where he was staying afterwards.
During the ride time, he just tried to figure out a way to have sex with her. Eventually, she gave a hand job to him to get rid of him.
He was like the puppy dog thing and said, well if we can’t have sex then something else can we do? Kelly said he tried to come up with all these different scenarios, and I was like “ Would a hand job work?
Moreover, she said he did wrong, but he could not understand this. It was proved a couple of months later when she hired me for a sex workshop. I accepted and in a weird way that probably negated any uncomfortable scenario that happened before.
Meanwhile, she continued a professional working relationship with him after this incident. However, it was infuriated last year when he approached her and invited her to one of his play parties.
Kelly said, I said no, and a storm came off, but obviously he does not get it. It might be possible you think about your prior interactions with someone before you approach and apologize.
Mihalko said, he received the first-hand job when he met with Shibari, but I was surprised she was uncomfortable. He said he learned that she has a grievance with him because she put his name in bad industry people.
Furthermore, he admits that he was very less “ savvy about Sexism” when he met with Kelly he transitioned fro cuddle parties to the sex business. Mihalko said I saw a professional porn performance with excellent communication and boundaries. He also said that we are all human. Just because someone is a performer of sex educator, it does not mean they are amazing about speaking up.
He did not get angry when Kelly speaks out. He said when somebody comes forward with any information, my advice is to thank them for speaking up. Just treat the situation like it happened yesterday even if it was 15 years ago. Just ask them what they need and how to clean up the mistakes and how you can help start the process of healing.
