In one week it will be spring break. This means nonstop sunshine (hopefully), extra time to sleep in, binge-watch movies and tv shows and maybe even read a good book. However, some people may not have any idea what to watch or read over the break. Some close friends of mine gave their recommendations for movies, tv shows and books. The following tv and movie recommendations can be found on either Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu or any video store. Books can be found at a local library, Amazon or a bookstore.

“Their eyes.” -Kendall [for what he’s going to be watching]

“This show on Netflix called ‘Good Girls.’” -Jade

“I don’t know, to be honest.” -Brandon

“Any of the “Harry Potter” movies, “Deadpool” or all of the “Avenger” movies. For shows, “The Office” or “Bob’s Burgers.” I don’t read like I should, so I have no book suggestions.” -Jada

“‘The Hate U Give.’” -Naye

“ “Us” or “Sex Education.”” -Josh

“I’ve recently been watching “Vampire Diaries” and I really like the storyline--outside of the supernatural stuff. I recommend watching this one and, of course, “Game of Thrones.”” -Zykuria

“ “Dope” or “Into the Spider-Verse.”” -Ben

“ “Weekend at Bernie’s” and “Living Single” for tv. “Slaughterhouse-Five” for books.” -Chris

“ “Shameless,” “How It’s Made,”How to Get Away with Murder” and “Clue.”” -Diamond

“I’d say “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. It just holds so much information in it that applies to daily life.” -Jamal

“I would recommend “You” on Netflix.” -Khalia

“ “What Happened to Monday” on Netflix.” -Taya
