What has happened: Clemson defeated South Carolina for the fifth straight year, 56-35 but it did not come without some obstacles. South Carolina quarterback Jake Bentley had his best game against the Tigers, throwing for 510 yards and five touchdowns in an offensive shootout. Clemson’s offense put up 744 yards as both defenses struggled to slow the opposing offense down.

What has happened: Clemson wrapped up the regular season with two straight wins, the first coming on Wednesday against Virginia Tech in a critical fifth set, after the Tigers dropped the third and fourth set. Freshman middle blocker Ava Pritchard had a career high 15 kills. Boston College rolled into Jervey on Friday as the Tigers defeated the Eagles in five sets. Brooke Bailey had 18 kills while Alyssa Deloney had 15.

Coming up: Clemson will host the first two rounds of the NIVC Tournament beginning with Alabama A&M on Thursday at 7 p.m. The winner of Thursday’s game will play the winner of App State - Radford on Friday at 7 p.m.
What has happened: Clemson headed to the Cayman Islands and defeated Akron 72-69 in the Cayman Islands Classic. Shelton Mitchell scored a season high 22 points and Elijah Thomas had a double-double. The Tigers then advanced to the championship game, defeating Georgia 64-49 as Marcquise Reed scored 24 points and Thomas had a second straight double-double.
Clemson’s run in the Cayman Islands fell short on Wednesday, falling to Creighton 87-82. Reed went over 1,000 total points, scoring 27 in the loss.
Coming up: Clemson will head home to Littlejohn to face Nebraska on Monday at 7 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN2.

What has happened: The week of Thanksgiving featured road trips for Amanda Butler’s team, as they went 1-2 on the week. The first loss came against Alabama on Monday as the Tigers fell 76-56 in Tuscaloosa. Sophomore post player Tylar Bennett set a career-high with 15 points scored.
Clemson traveled to the Bahamas as part of the Junkaroo Jam and fell to 11th-ranked Tennessee 78-66 on Thanksgiving. The game came down to the fourth quarter and Simone Westbrook and Danielle Edwards registered 19 points in the loss. The lone win of the week came on Friday as the Tigers defeated Oklahoma 74-62 as Edwards posted 24 points in the win. Clemson finished third in the Junkaroo division.
Clemson’s record stands at 3-3 overall.
