In "Spiderman 2," we saw that the comic book adapted series could focus just as much on story-telling as it does on action. In No. 3, that trend continues with Peter Parker fighting his inner desire for vengeance, not to mention a whole host of villains. Parker's former friend, Harry Osborn (James Franco), takes on the role of the Green Goblin, and Oscar-nominee Thomas Haden Church is sure to deliver as one of the most incredible CGI characters ever- Sandman. Plus, don't forget to look for Topher Grace, who trades in the laughs of "That 70s Show" as a nerdy, neurotic stoner to play... well... a nerdy, prickish rival reporter who might just push Parker over the edge. Once he makes his transformation in the film, though, I don't think anybody will want to crack jokes- stay tuned. Get ready for Spidey to spin his web, because this is one film you're sure to get caught up in!
"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," May 25
The tale of the infamous Jack Sparrow continues in the third and final "Pirates of the Caribbean" film. The tale picks up where "Dead Man's Chest" left off- Jack Sparrow stuck on The Flying Dutchman, Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner uniting with the evil Captain Barbossa and the East India Company gaining control over sea tyrant Davy Jones. The battle between good and evil takes the sea-farers to where else but the world's end. TimeOut doesn't want to give away the end of the movie, but let's just say it involves Chow Yun-Fat playing Sao Feng, a Chinese pirate. And come on, who isn't tempted to see it just for the eye candy Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom?
"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," July 13
Hmm... let's see. Harry's first kiss, a new director (again!), yet another Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, and Voldemort's back! The most successful movie franchise since "Indiana Jones" and the James Bond series doesn't show any signs of slowing down. Of course, "Order of the Phoenix" is supposedly going to be the shortest installment yet, so you have to wonder what they are going to cut out. (God help you, David Yates, if I don't see any Quidditch!) Still, this will definitely be the movie-going event of the summer. It might even be the most popular Potter film yet thanks to the hype over the seventh and final novel hitting book stores just eight days later. Rejoice, Potterphiles, because after reading The Deathly Hallows, we'll have to find some way to go on living.

Bjork "Volta" May 8
The legendary swan princess out of Iceland is scheduled to release a new album on May 8th. TimeOut guesses she deserves a little bit of credit, she is apparently immune to her own lack of style and public displays of embarrassment. Her past endeavors have ranged from folk music to electonica, so "Volta" should provide entertainment for listeners of all genres….Right?
Gretchen Wilson "One of the Boys" May 15
What more can you expect from a country star who found her beginnings in a trailer park located in Pocahontas, Ill.? Apparently the answer is another dose of country turned pop. Wilson's first big hit "Redneck Woman" describes her blue collar roots (basically living in poverty in a po-dunk town). Tracks on her new album "One of the Guys" include "Come to Bed" and "You Don't Have to Go Home." Single, anyone?

"Music and Lyrics" May 8
Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant team up in a romantic comedy that may or may not have the critics raving (but probably not). Alex Fetcher (played by Grant) is an 80s pop star trying to break back into the business. In order to impress the big wigs, Fetcher must seek the professional stylings of Sophie Fisher (played by Barrymore). After overcoming various relationship issues, the two obviously pursue a romantic relationship. Make sure to grab this off the shelf if you feel the need to relive the Hugh Grant prostitute scandal.
"Stomp the Yard" May 15
The box office hit is finally being released to a video store near you. The film details the life of DJ, in transition from the streets of LA to Truth University in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon arrival, he discovers stepping and eventually ends up on a fraternity's team. The end result is a fierce competition. TimeOut can't give away the end, all we saying is it's a must-see.
